At MealestroAI, we believe your data should help you eat better and save money, not be sold to the highest bidder. We are a small project based in Ottawa, Ontario, and we value your privacy as much as our own.

1. What We Collect (And Why)

We keep things minimal. We only collect:

• Email Address: To deliver your meal plans and deal alerts.
• Food Preferences: To ensure the recipes and deals we show you are actually relevant.

2. Our Infrastructure & Security

We use industry-standard tools to ensure your data is handled professionally. We don't build "home-grown" security scripts; we rely on the best:

• AWS (Amazon Web Services): Where your preferences are stored securely.
• Stripe: All payments are processed here. We never see, touch, or store your credit card details.
• Kit & beehiiv: These platforms manage our email delivery. Your email is shared with them only to deliver our content.

3. AI & Your Identity

Our AI is used to analyze grocery flyers and recipe data. We never send your personal identity, name, or email to AI models. Your data remains anonymized during processing.

4. No-Hostage Policy & Data Deletion

We want you here because you get value, not because you're stuck. You can cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or the link in our emails.

Right to Vanish: If you decide to leave, we can completely clear your data from our system and anonymize all previous transactions. Simply email us and we will "burn the files."

5. No Sale of Information

We will never sell, rent, or trade your email address or preferences to third parties. Period.
